The house is located in a small village just outside of Idstein, called Ehrenbach. Idstein is a small city, and is only around the corner, with restaurants, shopping and grocery stores (approx 2 miles).

It is exactly 21 miles to Clay Kaserne. As there is a nearby freeway entrance to the A3, one is usually in less than 25 min at the base. Other routes are possible and not much longer, in case of traffic on the A3.
